Business Objects XI is a complete suite of performance management, information management, reporting, and query and analysis tools built on Business Objects Enterprise XI, our BI platform.

Dashboard is a collection of information, it might include A map that color codes where like sales are performing well or poorly, A gauge chart that shows if expresses are over/under budget, dashboards to provide visibility, alignment, and insight across the enterprise, provides users at any level with visibility into the company’s performance.

The Business Objects XI performance management dashboards and scorecards make it possible for individuals at all levels of the organization to take corrective action sooner and feel confident that their decisions are based on trusted information. Users, depending on their roles, can also access underlying reporting and query and analysis capabilities to perform root cause analysis.

Business Objects XI (BOXI) is a reporting tool that allows users torun reports based on data within the college’s administrative system (Banner) database.

Business Objects XI includes a feature that allows reports to be scheduled at future specified times and emailed to selected recipients.

The scheduling window has 7 sections: Instance Title, Recurrence, Prompts, Formats and Destinations, Caching, Events and Scheduling Server Group. For financial reports only the first four are used. The others can be left to default values.
